11.55% Gilt Traded For Rs 55 Crore

The wholesale debt market of the National Stock Exchange clocked a trading volume of Rs 300.04 crore out of which the treasury bill segment contributed to a volume of Rs 32.73 crore.

The commercial paper segment saw five trades for Rs 25 crore, and the certificate of deposits saw a single trade for Rs 4 crore.

The 11.55 per cent government loan, maturing in 2001, saw 11 trades for Rs 55 crore. The paper was traded at the weighted average yield of 11.45 per cent, and at the low of Rs 100.03 and high of Rs 100.19.

The 13.05 per cent government loan, maturing in 2007, saw a bulk trade worth Rs 25 crore at the yield of 12.14 per cent and at the price of Rs 104.69. The 12.08 per cent security, maturing in 2001, witnessed three trades for Rs 38 crore. The paper was traded at the weighted average yield of 11.47 per cent and in the band of Rs 101.41 and Rs 101.43.

 

The 12.30 per cent government loan, maturing in 1998, saw two trades for Rs 26 crore at the weighted average yield of 8.72 per cent. The paper was traded in the band of Rs 101.06 and Rs 101.10.

The zero per cent government loan (second tranche) maturing in 2000 was traded for Rs 30 crore at the weighted average yield of 10.97 per cent.
