11% Govt Loan Dealt For Rs 20 Crore

The WDM of the NSE witnessed trades worth Rs 114.66 crore of which deals worth Rs 27 crore were concluded for the treasury bills segment. A deal worth Rs 20 crore was done for the repo segment. The corporate debentures segment saw 709 trades and a volume of Rs 2.16 crore yesterday.

A repo deal was done for the 13.25 per cent government loan maturing in 2000 for a term of 14 days at the rate of 10.85 per cent.

The 11 per cent government loan maturing in 2002 was traded for Rs 20 crore at the weighted average yield of 12.01 per cent. The paper was traded in the range of Rs 96.68 to Rs 96.70 for the day.

 

A deal worth Rs 15 crore was concluded for the 364-days treasury bill maturing on April 10, 1998, at the weighted average yield of 10.69 per cent. Treasury bills maturing on July 18, 1998, was traded for Rs 5 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.15 per cent.

The 16 per cent bonds of ICICI saw two trades aggregating Rs 1.20 crore. The paper was traded for Rs 104.70 and Rs 105.15. The 14 per cent government loan maturing in 2005 saw four trades in the odd lot segment of the WDM, aggregating a traded volume of Rs 11 lakh.

The paper was traded at a low of Rs 107 and closed at the high of Rs 108.75.
