12.69% Loan Sees Rs 95cr Trades

The wholesale debt segment at the NSE clocked a trading volume of Rs 475.79 crore of which the treasury bill segment contributed to Rs 7 crore.

The bonds of the three leading financial institutions - IDBI, ICICI and IFCI were traded for Rs 60.60 crore.

The certificate of deposit of the State Bank of India (SBI) saw volume of Rs 10 crore at the yield of 12 per cent and priced at Rs 98.57.

The bonds of IFCI saw a volume of Rs 30 crore, ICICI of Rs 25.60 crore while IDBI of Rs 5 crore.

The 12.69 per cent government loan maturing on 2002 was in demand and saw 17 trades contributing to a volume of Rs 95 crore and was traded at the weighted average yield of 11.37 per cent. The paper was traded at the low of Rs 103, touched a high of Rs 104.45 and closed at Rs 104.25.

 

The 11.50 per cent government loan maturing on 2004 saw 13 trades and volume of Rs 70 crore. The paper was traded at a weighted average yield of 11.75 per cent, at the low of Rs 98.25, touched a high of Rs 99.50 and closed at Rs 98.45.

The 12 per cent government loan maturing on 2008 saw eight trades, contributed volume of Rs 45 crore and traded at the weighted average yield of 12.03 per cent.
