Wasim Akram was included in Pakistan's 15-member squad for the Sharjah one-day tournament, but his final inclusion will depend on his fitness levels.

We have given him 48 hours to justify his full fitness, Pakistan Board secretary Wasim Bari said.

The 33-year-old Akram missed the second and third Tests against Lanka due to groin injury and was not in the preliminary squad of 18.

Middle-order batsman Ijaz Ahmed failed to get a place for the Sharjah tournament after failing in two innings in the Karachi Test, while Saeed Anwar did not get a place due to a sprained neck.

Team: Moin Khan (capt) Inzamam-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Naveed, Wajhatullah Wasti, Younis Khan, Yousuf Youhanna, Wasim Akram, Shoaib Akhtar, Waqar Younis, Mohammad Akram, Abdur Razzak, Imran Nazir, Arshad Khan and Shaoib Malik.
