Assam Co Turnover At Rs 121 Crore

The Assam Co of the Jajodias has achieved a total turnover of Rs 121 crore in 1997 as against Rs 115 crore in 1996, an increase of 5 per cent. Net profit rose by 439 per cent to Rs 9.65 crore in 1997 from Rs 1.79 crore the previous year. The board has recommended a dividend of 10 per cent.
