Better Tech To Tackle Power Crisis Urged

Minister of state for power S Venugopalachari has called for more energy-efficient technology in generation and distribution of power to improve its availability. He pointed out that power shortages cost the Indian industry almost 1.5 per cent of GDP (gross domestic product) or $2.7 billion.
