Entrepreneur Richard Branson has offered Britains soccer squads a luxury Caribbean holiday if they win the World Cup this summer.

Branson, whose Virgin business empire ranges from air travel to personal finance, said he would reward a winning English or Scottish team with a weeks free holiday on his exquisite Virgin Island of Necker.

The victors, plus partners, would be pampered with champagne, servants and fine food in a hideaway home that usually costs 13,000 pounds ($21,100) a night.

Ive got my fingers crossed. We will be entertaining them there, said Branson, a keen football fan. I shall be in France cheering them on and I am forecasting an England versus Germany rerun in the final.

An aide said Branson had made his offer of a free week in the Caribbean as an incentive.

The month-long football fest, to be played in stadia across France, ends in Paris on July 12.
