Who would have thought that Aamir Khan, once the heartthrob of millions, would become the target of so much ridicule and public anger? The star had a dream debut with Qayamat se Qayamat Tak, and subsequently won scores of fans and critical acclaim with movies like Rang de Basanti, Taare Zameen Par and 3 Idiots, among many others. His popularity soared with a television show that he produced and anchored, called Satyameva Jayate (SMJ) - a talk show around social problems such as inequality, abused women, child trafficking and such others. SMJ was Aamir's first turn on a political stage and the three seasons, that it played for, resulted in donations pouring in from the public, for a number of causes
