Claris profit up 9%

Ahmedabad-based Claris Lifesciences Ltd has posted net profit of Rs 21.7 crore on consolidated bases for the first quarter of the calendar year 2012, up by 9 per cent against Rs . 19.9 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Company's consolidated revenues stood at Rs 183.4 crore compared to Rs 158.5 crore in the same quarter previous year showing a growth of 15.7 per cent. The EBIDTA stood at Rs 51.9 crore for the quarter with margins at 29 per cent from net sales, which is higher than 26 per cent seen in corresponding period previous year.
