Bharti Telecom, the flagship company of Bharti Enterprises, has bagged Nepal Telecom Corporation's global tender worth $0.5 million. The company will supply 50,000 push button phones to Nepal Telecom by the month-end for a special network expansion project funded by the World Bank.
The company won the tender against stiff competition from 29 international telecom majors from the US, France, China, Korea, and eight Indian firms including BPL, Tata Telecom and ITI.
