Dabur Net At Rs 24.5 Crore

Dabur India (DIL) has recorded 11 per cent increase in its sales to touch Rs 440.14 crore in the first six months of the financial year 1998-99 as compared to Rs 397.13 crore last year over the same period.

DIL's also posted an increase in net profit from Rs 23.76 crore last year to Rs 24.53 crore this year, according to an official statement issued by Dabur India. The gross profit of the company increased by 9.5 per cent over the previous year during the same period. The gross profit before interest and depreciation was Rs 49.76 crore as compared with Rs 45.58 crore for the same period last year. Earnings per share on an annualised basis showed increase to reach Rs 17.20 as against Rs 15.80 for the financial year 1997-98, the statement pointed out.
