Hyderabad-based Divi's Laboratories Limited, engaged in the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients and intermediaries, has reported a 11.24 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 117.97 crore for the quarter ended September 2012, as against Rs 106.05 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Net income rose 33.67 per cent to Rs 473.74 crore, as compared to Rs 354.41 crore during the same period a year ago.
Total expenses increased 34.65 per cent to Rs 327.54 crore in the quarter, as against Rs 243.26 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The operating profit margin decreased 50 basis points to 30.86 per cent during the quarter, from 31.36 per cent for the same period last year.
