It manufactures and markets ball and cylindrical roller bearings, spherical roller bearings, needle roller bearings and taper roller bearings.  The company's products find application in automobile, textile machinery, electrical equipment and engineering industries. Automobile original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and the replacement market account for a major portion of FBL' s business.  It caters to OEMs like Telco, Maruti, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto and Punjab Tractors.  SKF Bearings is a 54 per cent subsidiary of SKF, Sweden, which is a world leader in bearings. The company manufactures ball bearings, tapered roller bearings and bearing accessories for automotive, electrical and industrial OEMs.  The company derives 50 per cent of its sales from the automobile sector and the balance from the industrial sector. Around 60 per cent of the total demand for SKF comes from OEMs and the remaining 40 per cent is from the replacement segment.  SKF's Indian arm is among one of the lowest cost producers of both ball bearings and taper roller bearings amongst group companies world-wide.  Besides, it is comparable to best on the quality front. This would enhance exports - at 4-5 per cent of sales currently - in the future. SKF has started offering services under SKF Reliability Systems.  The company offers maintenance services to optimise plants
