Forex forward premia crashed across the board in late evening deals that extended half-an-hour after the official closing time of 4.30 pm.
Forex dealers said the premia crashed by seven paise after 4:30 pm after a rash of inter-bank deals of around $10 million.
Deals were done mostly for maturity in November and December, dealers said. November and December premia, which closed at 62-65 paise and 76-79 paise respectively at official closing hours, were quoting at 55-58 paise and 69-72 paise.
