The Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (GSFC) on Friday announced decline of net profit by 29 per cent at Rs 150 crore for the second quarter of current financial year 2012-13. As against this, GSFC had posted a net profit of Rs 212.80 in the corresponding period last fiscal. In terms of Q2 net sales, GSFC saw the same grow by 12 per cent at Rs 1416.02 crore as against Rs 1264.13 crore for the corresponding period last year. For the first half of fiscal 2012-13, the company registered a net profit decline of eight per cent at Rs 323 crore as against Rs 354.88 for the corresponding period last year.
