Zee News, the Hindi news channel promoted by Zee Telefilms, will be revamped effective December 2, 1999
According to Zee officials, the company is introducing new programming and overhauling the look of the channel.
The company launched Its new magazine TV World on Saturday. Zee Group chairman Subhash Chandra said that Zee Publishing will produce editions in regional languages ata later date.
"We have currently infused Rs 5 crore capital in the company. We will introduce new publications which will have a synergy with the current business. No publication in this company will be a stand, alone publication," he told newspersons.
The meeting was also attended by Peter Mukherjea, Star TV chief executive in India. He said that the magazine is a prudent move by the Zee Group and Star TV will support it through advertise
