Gujral To Visit Bangladesh

A dispute over water sharing, a trade gap and India's plea for transport links through Bangladesh will dominate the Indian foreign minister's talks in Dhaka this week, officials said. They said Dhaka would plead for an immediate end to the water dispute that has affectedabout 40 million Bangladeshis. We will be seeking a long-term agreement with India by next December,"a foreign ministry official said. Gujral's four-day visit to Dhaka begins tomorrow.
