Over the past couple of weeks, my search for a new house led me to a host of real estate portals. Most of them had eerily similar interfaces with location and budget being the main categories. While using them, I realised the the apps didn't have great filters. I would get a plethora of options, but none seemed viable.
This is where HDFC Red made my job a tad easy. This app happens to have a "Priority Search" option that is entirely customisable according to one's needs. This feature was introduced in the application in July. Using this, potential home buyers can view properties based on their relevance, thereby personalising the results according to their needs and demands.
The Priority Search tools let home seekers rank their preferences while simultaneously using the percentage rating system. You can prioritise what is more important to you from a list of five options, namely location, budget, size, amenities and the time of possession.

Based on the priorities, a comprehensive list of properties is presented where each property is accompanied by a relevance score and feedback mechanism. The app is easy to use and provides a hassle-free experience to home seekers.
The only question that comes to mind is the credibility of the results displayed. If a property belongs to the bank's list of approved projects, one can be assured of its credibility and bet on it. So, for that list, one needs to visit the bank. You can then choose your options and prioritise them on the app.
The app is available on Android and iOS.
