The findings of KPMG International’s Global Future of HR 2020: Which path are you taking? survey point to at least one trend with fair amount of certainty: That the human resources (HR) functions and professionals need to modernise and that they have very little time left to upgrade. 

Having surveyed over 1, 300 HR executives from across the world including those from India, KPMG found that three in five HR leaders globally (57 per cent) compared to 67 per cent in India believed that the HR function would rapidly become irrelevant if it didn’t modernise its approach to understanding and planning
