IBM Academic Initiative to train 42,000 students

IBM Academic Initiative and the Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC), an AP government initiative, today renewed its memorandum of understanding to build a pool of skilled resources from various colleges in the state. As a part of the partnership, IBM will enable JKC in training and certifying its associates and students on technologies such as DB2, RAD, Tivoli and cloud computing. The road map for the year ahead will benefit over 42,000 students through a series of training, certification and real-life problem solving projects, a release said.
