This is the bike that tries to offer Shogun performance at a Samurai price. It manages neither. The only bike in the TVS Suzuki range of motorcycles to offer a five-speed gearbox (and a gear indicator in the instrument cluster...wow!), this 140 CC bike offers 11.8 bhp at 6750 rpm. Now this is a little peculiar. It is interesting to note that while it has a large engine displacement than the Shogun, thelatter offers a higher maximum power output of 14 bhp, albeit at a higher 8500 rpm. Yes, it is the `green' brigade version, a la the Yamaha RXG - big capacity to ensue better combustion and hence greener emissions. The body panels are borrowed from the Shogun and the Samurai and fresh graphics ordered to play `identify-me if you can' with the rest of the Suzuki clones. The black chrome finish found on the Shogun's muffler is not to be found here, but both share the same wheelbase of 1208 mm, actually shorer than the Max 100 and R and the Samurai, which themselves suffer from a short wheelbase. Considering the increase of power on tap, the opposite should actually be the case.
