As smartphones and mobile data continue to get cheaper in India, e-commerce is set to gain immensely. A new research by PwC suggests it could touch $100 billion by 2022 from the $35 billion it is currently pegged at. As a young population spends more time online, it shifts focus from buying necessities to improving quality of life. Going forward,  the consuming class will surge further.
