Inkmonk raises Rs 1.5 cr in angel funding

The company offers online marketplace for custom printed merchandise

Inkmonk, an online marketplace for custom printed merchandise, has raised around Rs 1.5 crore from a group of investors including Freshdesk founder and CEO Girish Mathrubootham.

The company has raised fund from Phanindra Sama, co-founder of online bus booking firm RedBus, and angel investor Vikram Chachra, among others. The fund is expected to be utilised for expansion of operations including rectruitment, product expansion and marketing, according to a report.

Inkmonk, run by Imprimatur Printing Services Pvt. Ltd. is a full stack merchandising solution built for businesses. For companies, printing, managing and shipping of custom merchandise at relevant events are areas which they dont have expertise and the company is working on making purchasing and distribution of custom printed merchandise a hassle free process, it claims.
