Inl Split

The Tamil Nadu unit of the Iindian National League yesterday seemed on the verge of a split with a faction expelling its state president MA Latheef, and the latter describing the action as illegal. A general council meeting convened earlier in the day under the chairmanship of MA Sattar adopted a resolution expelling Latheef from the primary membership of the party for his alleged anti-party and anti-democratic activities.
