Irrigation Meet

Union water resources minister Janeshwar Mishra yesterday called for cooperation and consensus among the river basin states to help the governments endeavour to promote an integrated water development plan succeed. Inaugurating a meeting of the National Water Development Agency here, the minister stressed the need to implement the inter-basin transfer of water.
