Kings XI Punjab decided to field after winning the toss against Royal Challengers Bangalore in an Indian Premier League match here today.

Veteran speedster Zaheer Khan will be playing his first match of this edition and is making a comeback to competitive cricket after nearly five months. Zaheer replaces Abhimanyu Mithun while Muttiah Muralitharan has been drafted in place of Ravi Rampaul.
