ITC director R K Kutty was interrogated by the enforcement directorate (ED) for about four hours yesterday in connection with the $350 million alleged Fera violation case.
The chief executive of the Indian Leaf Tobacco Division (ILTD), R Ranganathan, will answer queries regarding the alleged underinvoicing of leaf tobacco exports today. ITC chairman Y C Deveshwar, summoned by the ED, is expected to arrive on January 24. He will be questioned on alleged underinvoicing of leaf tobacco exports done between January and October 1996.
