Mathur told Business Standard that the plaza will be located in Sector 18 near the proposed National Botanical Garden. It will be constructed over 10 acres with a built-up area of 2 million square feet. He said to achieve this built-up area, the required floor area ratio will be 400 per cent.
The plaza will havea 500-room 5 star hotel. It will also have a commercial centre for retail sales and entertainment and a convention-cum-exhibition centre consisting of an auditorium with a seating capacity of 3000. Officials said a well-equipped exhibition space of 2,000 square metres, an office complex , a trade centre, a theme park and an entertainment centre are also on the cards.
