The stalemate was a fallout of the arrest of a security guard who was on duty at the trading area by Calcutta police .
As a result of the agitation, settlement of specified shares, scheduled for today at the Lyons Range has been deferred, according to P K Dey, secretary of the Calcutta Stock Exchange.
