The BJP yesterday demanded that Prime Minister IK Gujral should quit in view of the Patna High Courts observation on Tuesday, about the central governments direct intervention in the functioning of the CBI in the fodder scam.
The Prime Minister has lost the moral authority and claim to political untouchability, party spokesperson Yashwant Sinha said, adding that Inder Kumar Gujral must go. Sinha said the BJP would soon launch a country-wide movement for removal of the central government.
We will expose the nexus between Gujral and Laloo, he added.
