Microsoft has today launched its new affordable Windows Phone Microsoft Lumia 532 in India for a price of Rs 6,499.
The company introduced its two Lumia devices in the affordable segment, the Microsoft Lumia 532 and Microsoft Lumia 435. Lumia 435, priced at Rs 5,999 a unit, is the lowest priced Microsoft Windows phone, said company officials.
The products will be available in the market starting February 20, 2015.
T S Sridhar, director, south, Nokia India Sales Pvt. Ltd. (a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobile Oy) said, "The market in the affordable segment ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 12,000 is the largest and growing fast. We are looking at these segments with these products."
The new products would target the first time smart phone users and smaller markets, said the company officials.
