Mirc Records 71% Growth In Net Profit

Mirc Electronics has posted a 71 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 46.10 crore on a 16 per cent rise in net sales for the year ended 31 March, 2000. The board of directors of the company had recommended dividends aggregating 130 per cent during the year (65 per cent for the year ended 31 March, 1999), Mirc said in a statement on 22 May. Mirc's net sales increased to Rs 797.19 crore from Rs 688.58 crore.
