Andhra Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is once again demanding cash from the Centre. This time, with the argument that the state is losing over Rs 700 crore every year in the five years of the 11th Finance Commission. Naidu has demanded that an alternative method should be found by the Centre to compensate the state for the loss.
Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnadu will come up with specific suggestions for the Central financial compensation package at a meeting with Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha on Saturday.
The meeting between the finance ministers was finalised at Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee
