Net Name Violation Can Be Checked By Torts Law

In the absence of an effective central legislation to check violations of trade marks and domain names on the Internet, the order of the Supreme Court last week should bring some relief. The Supreme Court dismissed the special leave petition of Cyber Booth seeking to overrule the high court decision in favour of Rediffusion Communication Ltd.
