The India Hydrocarbon Vision 2025 report on restructuring the country's oil sector was expected to be finalised yesterday, petroleum minister Ram Naik said.
"The group of ministers is meeting on Tuesday to finalise the Hydrocarbon Vision 2025 report. We hope to submit the final report to the Prime Minister before the Parliament session," he told reporters.
Earlier, speaking at the 10th oil industry safety workshop award function organised by Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD), Naik said a strong company policy on safety aspects should be evolved that would help enhance productivity of the oil sector. "All employees have a responsibility in the prevention of accidents by contributing actively to the development and implementation of the safety policies and practices," Naik said.
