Persistent Systems PAT up 38%

Persistent Systems an outsourced software product development services player, announced the Company’s financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2012 with a revenue figure of Rs 234.27 crore as compared to the same quarter last year at Rs  171.308, representing a year on year growth of 36.7 per cent.

This company which expanded its presence in Nagpur early this year, and inaugurated a new facility with a seating capacity of 1,250 people posted a 37.9 per cent rise in its profit after tax (PAT) at Rs 40.197 crore in the quarter of June 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 29.138 crore in the same quarter last year. “We continue to see traction in the market. We have been focussed on analytics, collaboration, cloud and mobility. We find significant activities around these initiatives”, said Anand Deshpande, CMD, Persistent Systems.
