The Upasi Tea Research Institute at Valayar, Coimbatore district, has developed a software on `pest management in tea. The software contains information on foliage, stem and root pests and their control,institute sourcessaid. The floppy, costing Rs 300 and in two disc sizes, would be useful to planters, especially those in south India , where this type of pest menace is large.
