Though Rado service centres have been present in India since 1957, the brand was officially launched two years back. As part of its attempt to establish its brand identity, Rado actively promotes association with creative events. The launch of Cerix, on May 7 in Delhi, was marked by a calligraphy exhibition by Rajeev Yadavendra and the presentation of RAjesh Pratap's Spring-Summer Collection 2000. Rado brand ambassadors Kapil Dev and Lisa Ray were present on the occasion.
The watch which has won the Swiss and Austrian "Watch of the Year' awards, will be available at the retail outlets of Rado and the Swatch group showrooms in the country. Rado is a part of the 3.35 billion. Besides Rado, the group also owns 15 other brands including Omega, Longines and Tissot.
