SKF Bearings India has posted net profit of Rs 3.4 crore in the first quarter of 1999-2000 from a net loss of Rs 10.4 crore in the corresponding period last year. Sales income increased 6 per cent in the period. Profit before interest and depreciation went up to Rs 22.8 crore from Rs 15.1 crore.
