Other scrips purchased by the UTI include Carrier Aircon, Cochin Refineries, HPCL, L&T and MTNL. A purchase of 25,000 shares at the HLL counter on Tuesday seems to be the only significant purchase at an index counter. The institution is also reported to be buying into the Rolta and German Remedies counters in small quantities.
