The wholesale debt segment of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) witnessed trades worth Rs 914.01 crore yesterday.
The newly issued 11.10 per cent government loan maturing in 2003 saw 31 trades for Rs 320 crore at a weighted yield of 11.09 per cent. The security was traded at a high of Rs 100.19 and a low of Rs 99.85.

There was active demand for the 13.05 per cent government loan maturing in 2007, which witnessed 34 trades for Rs 200 crore at a weighted yield of 11.76 per cent.
It was traded at a high of Rs 107.35 and a low of Rs 106.70.
At the shorter end, the 12 per cent government loan maturing in 1999 was in demand and traded for Rs 55 crore at a weighted yield of 9.47 per cent.
There were 10 trades amounting to Rs 50 crore in the 11.15 per cent 2002 paper.
The total value of debentures traded was Rs 14.85 lakh. The T-bill segment saw 2 trades amounting to Rs 6 crore.
CDs of Bank of America maturing on April 22 and 29, 1998 were traded for an aggregate amount of Rs 2 crore at an yield of 9.50 per cent.
