Sequoia had invested $1.8 million in an earlier round in February 2015.
RAW Presserry makes natural cold pressed juices of several fruits and has a market presence in seven cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Gurgaon and Delhi. The investment would help the firm add more flavours, expand into modern trade and home delivery to meet demands of young health conscious customers, said Anuj Rakyan, founder of RAW Pressery in a statement.
The firm has presence in 300 outlets and wants to expand to over 1,800 outlets by next year.
" Globally, the category of cold pressed juices and all natural beverage is growing very fast and has huge potential. The focus on wellness and the individual being more conscious of what they consume is a growing trend, even in India and is only going to continue getting larger," said Ash Lilani, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Saama Capital.
