Nasik on the air map again Nasik is back on the air map of the country after five years with the launch of the first Mumbai-Nasik flight of Maharashtra Spanair yesterday. The 13-seater Beechcraft Super Kingair b-200 aircraft had two Maharashtra ministers, Baban Gholap and D S Aher, n its maiden flight. The aircraft landed at the gandhi nagar airstrip, about three kms from Nasik, around 1130 hours. The Mumbai-Nasik flights would be operated five days a week, from Monday to Friday, from April 28.
