Bookings for Hyundai Motor India Ltd's latest offering in the Indian car market, Accent, have not met the company's target.
Giving its sales figures for October, Hyundai announced that it had received 1,037 full-payment customer orders for the 1.5 litre mid-size luxury car since bookings opened on October 21 up to October 31.

The company has set a target of selling about 5,000 units of Accent during the remaining months of the current financial year and aims to sell about 1,000 units every month in the next financial year.
