Team To Meet Pm On Cauvery

An all-party delegation led by Karnataka Chief Minister JH Patel will meet Prime Minister IK Gujral today to convey the states opposition to the Centres draft scheme to constitute a Cauvery river authority. The delegation will urge the Prime Minister to immediately draft guidelines for a national water policy to resolve inter-state river disputes, official sources said.
