Andhra Pradesh Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organisation (Apitco) has been selected as the principal implementing agency by the Centre for a project aimed at promoting technology transfer and upgradation through enterprise-to-enterprise interaction between small-scale industries (SSIs) in India, Indonesia and Malaysia. Addressing a press conference here today on the eve of the completion of two decades of Apitco, its chairman YS Hegde said the Development Commissioner, SSI (DCSSI), has selected Apitco for implementing the project, through active participation by Indian and Indonesian SSIs, as also the DCSSI, and industry associations in India, Malaysia and Indonesia.
