Traded Volume At Rs 138.90 Crore

NSE REPORT

The wholesale debt market (WDM) at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) witnessed dull trading for the third consecutive day yesterday clocking a traded volume of Rs 138.90 crore and reporting only 27 trades.

The corporate debenture segment saw 553 trades and a traded volume of Rs 6 crore. Of this, the 14 per cent bond of Reliance Industries saw a bulk trade aggregating to a volume of Rs 4.17 crore. The paper was traded at a yield of 15.47 per cent and priced at Rs 34.84.

The treasury bills segment contributed Rs 25 crore and saw only four trades during the day.

 

The 13.70 per cent government loan was traded for Rs 35 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.29 per cent. The paper was traded in the range of Rs 102.55 and Rs 102.60 for the day. The 11 per cent gilt maturing on 2002 was traded for Rs 20 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.93 per cent. The paper was traded in the range of Rs 96.80-96. 96.

The 12.69 per cent government loan maturing in 2002 was traded for Rs 20 crore at the weighted average yield of 11.93 per cent and in the price range of Rs 102.33 and Rs 102.34.
