Traded Volume At Rs 546.54 Crore

The wholesale debt market (WDM) at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) witnessed active trading with 96 trades being reported, contributing a volume of Rs 546.54 crore yesterday.

The treasury bill segment contributed a volume of Rs 96.36 crore, the commercial paper market witnessed Rs 10 crore worth volumes, while one repo deal was concluded for Rs 15 crore.

The commercial papers (CPs) of ACC and Tisco were traded for Rs 5 crore, each at a yield of 10.30 per cent and 10.65 per cent, respectively.

A repo deal for a term of 14 days at the rate of 8.10 per cent was concluded for the 12.59 per cent government loan maturing in 2004.

 

The 364-day treasury bill maturing on July 18 was traded for Rs 75 crore at a weighted average yield of 7.57 per cent. The paper was traded in the Rs 98.16-98.21 band.

The 11.75 per cent government loan maturing on 2006 saw the highest volume at Rs 145 crore and traded at a weighted average yield of 11.73 per cent.

The paper saw 22 trades and was traded at a low of Rs 99.95 and a high of 100.09.

The 12,69 per cent government loan maturing on 2002 was traded for Rs 35 crore at a weighted average yield of 10.98 per cent.
