NSE REPORT
The wholesale debt market at the National Stock Market (NSE) has clocked a low volume of Rs 148.35 crore yesterday. Of this, the corporate debenture segment accounted to trades worth Rs 269.75 lakh.
There was not much trading interest seen in the market yesterday, said a NSE broker at the debt segment. Perhaps, no one is willing to take a view over the interest rate. This is evident from the fact that there were just two deals reported for the 364-day treasury bills, he added.
