Ykk Sets Up Shop In India

Japans YKK Corporation, the global leader in zip fasteners, has set up a Rs 90 crore unit at Bawal in district Rewari of Harayana. The corporation has set up a new company "" YKK India Private Limited to run its zip fastener manufacturing unit, which started its commercial production last week. Its executive and managing directors met Harayana Chief Minister Bansi Lal in Chandigarh last week to apprise him of the Bawal project. The project will have an annual production of 2.3 crore pieces of zip fasteners, both metallic and non-metallic.
